Also, there are a wide variety of exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home, which is handy as it helps save time and also money. The NHS Choices website has a variety of free tutorial videos to help you get started, whether you’re a beginner or not.

Stopping smoking is also a great way to become healthier. It may be difficult at first, however stopping smoking eventually leads to feeling more energetic, making an active lifestyle easier to achieve. Smokefree Liverpool is a new service (replacing Fag Ends), you can self refer for one of their local clinics on the website, or alternatively, Belle Vale Health Centre (Hedgefield Road) has a drop in clinic on Tuesday: 9.00am – 10.15am & 4.00pm – 5.45pm.
